| Prayer is a spiritual practice
that invites us to acknowledges dependence - that none of us is alone,
that all of us can reach out in need or in gratitude to connect to that
which is greater than ourselves. It can be difficult to accept or
admit dependence. Rev. Anya Sammler-Michael reflects on dependence as
a gift, not a hindrance to spiritual growth; our choir will sing, and
we will hear a stewardship testimonial from a member of our
congregation.
